Need Ram Help on this Blackops. My second one came from Newegg today since my first one would not run faster than 50-60% of the set CPU and DRAM FSB speeds set in BIOS.

The second one runs great. Installed G25 and the E8400 runs at 9x470. However, my good ram will not post. I get E0 and E1 errors.

Well, that's not completely correct. 1 stick of my Super Talent DDR3-1800 will Post. However the other stick will not Post in any Ram Slot and at any DRAM Voltage/NB Voltage set within BIOS.

My Patriot Viper DDR3-1866 gives me an E0 error. Which someone on this forum informed me that to get around this error I will need to have the XMP profile data removed. I'm not going to reflash my Ram.

Therefore what DDR3-1800+ memory are you people using that works right out of the box?

Running it with my cheap $70 OCZ DDR3-1066 sticks in it now.

Still Problems with QX9770 ES multiplier.

I have tried both G25 and G26 bioses and the multiplier is still stuck on 8x. With my QX6850 ES is working ok but there is not way with this QX9770.

Are you sure that you have CPU frequency unlimited =enabled in your BIOS? By default it is =disabled, and it confused plenty of people ... including myself

Yepp, I had the same issues with my SST-1800RAMs and the new BIOS P04, G25 & G26. Buy some cellshock 1866 (the blue ones). I was able to run them out of the box with 5-4-5-12 on this mobo. Or flash the SPDs, but you'll void the warranty.

I second that motion to get the CellShock blue kit; they are well worth the $400 price tag IMHO. No issues whatsoever since I popped them in, except for the board still showing the wrong multiplier once in a while. Board is going back this weekend and the replacement should be here later today.
