A load power consumption of 147w? That sounds like a load of crap to me, with it's massive die and power connector requirements. Thats less load power consumption than the 55nm 3870. That can't be anywhere close to the truth.

The entire system is using 284watts with a 9800gtx. So to say the GTX 280 will use 250watts by itself is a bit retarded imo
