I meant tried to lower to 2.25 (from 2.3). I think 2.3v should be OK on D9GMH...any thoughts?
2.3v is about as high as you want to go for extended periods of operation....better yet, get a fan on the memory modules if you do not have one...but...that does not preclude you from having a failure if one of the chips was not manufactured to high standards....over-voltage always kills and if one of the parts has a weak link already, it wouldn't take long.
