yeh storage thread to take more advantage of a system.. like nero, dvdshrink do

but if the whole intent was cpu bench only.. then its cool as is

    i noticed @ Fuggers results that pass1 = 4 threads yet pass2 = 8 threads

Fugger should be getting 160+ fps @ pass1 because hes getting 40+ fps @ pass2

    can you make pass1 @ 8 threads?

    or am i missing smgt..

    Just to compare->

Both the above alongside Phenom 9850 BE in XP 32b:
    2500MHz CPU 2000MHz NB 800 RAM 4-4-4-12-15 Ganged
    2700MHz CPU 2000MHz NB 800 RAM 4-4-4-12-15 Ganged

2nd pass looks very MEM intensive.

They'll be better Unganged mode and even better in 1066 mode.. but this MB/BIOS has trouble POSTing 1066 mode for now

@KTE - can you download the latest incarnation of the benchmark? It includes CPU-Z and a more detailed report with hardware-specifics.

Well, I'm busy testing much for now so can't repeat them but this is my setting now - one I'm testing.

@KTE - nice series of runs. Did you graph them for your own info?
@makaka - got it, thanks... I'm assuming you ran that 1:1 (mem was @ 1,000 MHz)?

Does it support 8 cores and x64 OS? If so I'll give this a try...

Technically, the bench is using all 8 of your cores all the time... the first pass of the encode is simply not as CPU intensive as the 2nd half. See the question about 100 % CPU usage in the FAQ for more.

I'll add your results to the and they'll go live when I update again... btw, you have a smokin' fast machine. It's currently the 3rd fastest in the entire db.

    Thanks!

Thanks, it's not even using quadchannel yet (only 2 dimms installed) and 430 FSB is my 24/7 primestable setting. Who's #2? I can go up to ~447 benchable
Also this was after ~2weeks uptime

If you browse to the main link (first post of this thread) which is hosted over at techarp, you can d/l the entire .xls file. The three faster machines are clocked @ 3.99, 3.80 and 3.23 GHz.

Ok, can't beat 3,8 or Fugger's machine, of course. But the 3,23 one is mine, no?

Seems nothing reads this boards sensors right yet Also are your temp readings taking into account that the TjMax = 95°C for this chip and not 105°C?

^Nope, I'm on air w/ windows open and the case door open. I can make a temp corrections in the BIOS I believe but I just use Real Temp for CPU readings and everest for NB, SB, PWM, GPU, and such. Right now I am folding @ 100% and my cores are at 45, 43, 39, 40 w/ Real Temp and 55, 53, 48, 49 w/ Everest--give or take a degree.

I'll try to post my stock numbers on Wednesday.

First off, thanks for the data. I'll update the db later today. To answer your questions, that report is generated by CPU-Z and I believe it's using 105 as the TjMax.

Pretty good temps for that o/c cooled on air. What are your voltages (BIOS not everest) to hold that FSB stable?
