You're so lucky man! How did you convince them to do these insane stuff?

My soon to be wife gives me "the look" every time I buy something new for my rig. Ruins her day actually.

a little test on air before use LN2

    3d06 21704 3dmarks
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=6849636

    QX9770 @ 4280MHz HD 3870 @ 904/1050MHz
    room temp 26c
    San Ace 120x120x38 260CFM main
    San Ace 120x120x38 102CFM + Tornado 80x80x38 84CFM + Scythe 120x120x25 45CFM on ATI

    QX9770 on LN2

i expected a good run on LN2 but we got some bios issues ,i told her to go easy on the first boot and is better to use the multi instead the fsb , for a start she tryed 11 x 427 at 1.55v -> pass and 12 x 427 at 1.75v -> pass again

I said to Yoko ->well done and now its time to push it hard ,vcore on it my baby cz 5.8ghz+ is possible for you

the things was going very well ,i said to her to not use nothing above 450FSB and 12 x 450 with 4 cores was very easy at 1.8Xv and try some wprime at 5400MHz before using 13x

    but it failed .....

i dont know whats happen after that run,the wprime started at 12 x 450 but the multi drooped to 6x (C1E and seepdstep off on bios)

and now the machine only boot at 8x and no boot with nothing above 400FSB+ :S

we are trying to fix it and we will be back soon with Gigabyte again or P5K3 DLX
