Don't feel jipped, I can only do stock below 1.3V. I have messed with 2.6-2.75 but nothing would be absolutely stable.

Thats like saying all of the 939 Opterons should have hit 3ghz
For Example I spent $570.00 on y Opteron 175 and it would only do 270mhz from the initial 2.2ghz so I spent $170.00 on a Opteron 170 and it did 3ghz from the stock 2.0ghz so go figure

I read somewhere (some manual... sorry can't remember),
that if you use 4 sticks you need to increase some of the timings in order for them to work. The board does it by default.
You will be able to get lower latency with 2x2...

I remember when we came up with those a long time ago. 3/4 of lab was spent debating which colour variation went with which drug. That was the most intense lab ever. Much more fun than figuring out if butterfly poop would actually destroy the world.

which pin settings do you mean? you plug in those 2 cards, connect them via the cf-connector and then install driver or reinstall it if its been installed before.

then cf-tab should be available and you set set cf to work.

test with 3dmark06, should give you lot > 14k points with three gpu setup.

only thing you might set is pcie 2.0 to autonomous switch in pcie settings menu in the bios. but even without cf should work..

thank you all for the help in my crossfire question. i was referring to the pins layout between the 2nd and 3rd pcie slots on the board. i read that those pins are for the 3rd pcie slot. i will try the pcie autonomous setting in the bios. i had the bridge install and everything. one thing that was strange was after i install the latest driver 8.5, ccc didn't come up. i can launch it manually, but it would just sit there. i'll fiddle around with it more tonight. i'm running windows server 2k8, but that shouldn't matter as it's like vista with sp1. i'd love to get crossfire working as i just bought a new corsair tx 750w. thanks again everyone for your help.

ahh i see you mean those power connectors. i'd connect them to a floppy style connector each.

with ccc is a common problem now and then. one time, i had to reinstall whole windows after too many driver install and deinstall..

oh i don't mean the floppy type power connectors. i have those two connected. i mean the jumper type pins for the pcie settings. according to the manual, it's like 2x4x something and you're supposed to place the blue plastic jumpers according to the pins layout. i have it at default when the mobo was shipped.

That would explain the correction, maybe the spellcheck actually works. Ahh well I've seen it both ways. We used to have arguments, we were so out of it we couldn't read

Had me worried there stocius, though you might have been running Internet Exploder. Firefox noobs IE.

    BOT
Checked BIOS, I am on 5-5-08 and it's starting to look good stock. I've not OCed yet but will get to that later.
Did a little tweak. Raised my HT to 1200 then 1400. I noticed that running games the stutter is less. I don't see an speed increase but it is smoother.
Next I got my Corsairs in running 4-5-4-13 at 2.05V, that just made it even better.

I'm starting to get into this. Now If I can raise the clocks a little I'll definitely be content with this until the new stuff comes.

Now, I need to go dig up some GD

I aborted that project when the 5600 behaved terribly in the DFI. I have the Phenom back in and Love it. I still have to check overclocking.
