Doubtful, since X3350 and Q9450 are the same exact chip..... despite the standing rumor that Xeons are binned differently

I am gonna get an actual Rampage and see how it does with 45nm.

This is such a nonsense. I'll never buy any Asus product again, I swear, unless they release a fix in a month.

Solid boards, but the fact that they were not ready for 45nm, and clearly have a limitation in BIOS with overclocking (usually 440mhz FSB cap) which was similar to the 860mhz ATI HD3870 Core clock problem, I would have to say its a BIOS issue, or maybe the board physically cannot OC it more.

I wonder how P45 will do, but I probably wont be looking at P45 unless there are a few 16x/16x PCIE2.0 boards.

If you get a true Rampage Formula, I would like to hear some results. I'm in the same boat as you with mine being limited to 8x440 even with full watercooling on board

    Same for me.
I simply don't understand why my X3350 won't run on both my UT-P35.
I hope that a future bios release will resolve the problem.

It's not any better on the DFI. I am not the only one having the FSB wall problem and it is definatly not because the DFI bios lacks settings.

I think you'll like the Rampage. It brought my X3350 to 3.8 before I sold it.
