    1200Mhz on OCZ Alpha VX2 4x1GB @ CL5 2.3v (is this normal??!?)

Hi, I was testing 1503 bios with my striker extreme when I entered 1200 mhz for ddr2 by error (was about to set that fsb). My ram was at the "factory" voltage 2.275v and the timmings in auto. Just when rebooting I realized I entered the value in the wrong place and what was my surprise when I was about to reset that the friking system posted with my ram @ 1200Mhz!! with 2.275v and something like 5-7-7-19.

I am really shocked because I was never able to past about 1066 with this voltage, I just want to know if this is normal, btw I am right now at this speed, the ram is cool and I have run 3dmark without problems...

680i chipset ain't like P35/X38/P965 for memory performance.

My 2x1GB OCZ PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 on 965/P35/X38 only did 565mhz 4-4-4-5 at 2.45v and 585mhz 4-4-4-5 at 2.6v but on Asus 680i Striker Extreme they do 600mhz 5-3-3-5 very tight subtimings at 2.475-2.525v which is tighter than other memory which can clock higher than my Alpha VX2 on 965/P35/X38.

My 2x1GB OCZ PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 did ~620mhz 3-3-3-10 at 2.16v on DFI LANPARTY DK 790FX-M2RS with Cpu Opteron 1220 .I believe that i can touch Wr Cas 3 if i go with Intel .
