yea australia always suffers from this sadly. not to mention, its hardly possible to get reasonable prices for them.

    great looking board though .

Yes, Asus states here that the P5Q-E motherboard has the express gate (Linux OS) function.

A quick look at the P5Q-E tells me that it has same layout as my P5Q Dlx and P5Q3 Deluxe. Should be overclockable as well as P5Q3 and the P5Q Dlx i tested / im still testing

It does have Linux on board. Express Gate and Drive Xpert are part of SplashTop.

I hope u can try it with crossfire... Pci exp 2.0 go twice the old pci exp so 2 slot 8x could be more than enough for 2 3870... And I'm curious to see how they perform with crossfireX 4x... This mobo could be great with dual core clocking and multi gpu... Bye
I might be blind or so, but i only see 1 pci-express slot...

i am testing it now and no problem (except very flaky BIOS), my QX9650 goes to 501MHz FSB!

If i set in BIOS voltage manually boards dont post ... is if everything on AUTO (CPU, PLL, NB) is going fine. There is serious error in BIOS 0204.

The one blue and the two black slots are PCI-E.
