Sham, if you're reading this: what's up with the other memory dividers that are hidden in the bios? Are they not working stable enough?

All memory dividers that you need, are available in bios. Why would you use anything lower than 1:2

I don't understand that memory killing part... but hey, it's me

    Almost 30K single..

I tried some LN2 clocking on friday (10h only). That wasn't my day at all, cause I couldn't get good contact between pot and cpu I was too tired maybe.

CPU did only 5.64GHz and I have try again as soon as possible.

Motherboard worked really well, but I couldn't get PL5 and strap 266 working like I wanted, so I tested with strap 333 and PL6.

    Here is the 06:

He just meant that 4.5V is available to the memory allthough its locked it could be unlocked to kill your ddr3 instantly lol.

I just started playing with BlackOps today, but cannot get CPU-Z to correctly detect the multiplier on QX9770.
Is there a known bug or a simple fix?
It always shows max multi of 8x in CPU-Z, even when set to 9x or higher in BIOS.

leave cpu feauyture at native and not disable or smm mode, the help screen beside says this, though u can disable the rest.

Please dont write the DDR-rate as the frequency

Memory killing part, its harder then tweaking!!! Memory can easily die if you vacume them or such :p.

Like Peter suggested, use native mode and "frequency unlimited" setting enabled.

Are you using Vista or XP?

Using G20 and have set both native mode and frequency unlimited on XP.
    Still getting CPU-Z problems.

Tim I had problems with CPUz this Saturday as well ( on the Striker II Extreme though ).
It couldn't detect the CPU Multiplier properly ( using the latest CPU-z version, 1.45 that is )

It seems to be EIST related.
When i have the system set to 9x multi and the following CPU settings, i get low power mode with low vcore and low multi. Once i load the CPU it shoots up to 9x and the voltage increases.

When i dissable the CPU EIST, i get 8x multi and the CPU-Z vcore still reads low, but real DMM is correct.

    Weird.
Try downloading CrystalCPUID and then use enhanced intel speedstep option in that program. Select multi 10x in bios and when you are in windows, select it (10x) from CCPUID and see what happens. If nothing, I'm out of answers

OK, with EIST = Native, setting to 9x in CrystalCPUID causes instant system hang (too low volts i suspect due to power saving)
With EIST = Dissabled, setting to 9x gives perfect results and CPU-Z now reflects the same.

Peter, this is the same problem as with that Dreadnought BIOS we were using i suspect :s
