    ASUS P5Q-E (P45) pre-view

    hi everybody,
yesterday i was the lucky man, and got from ASUS Hungary this new mobo for testing, thanks guys
first come some pics, results i will share as soon as possible...
to tell you the truth, this mobo impressed me so much, (you could see on the pictures) 2phase nb and ram pwm, 8phase for cpu, and this is almost a budget mobo, Deluxe will have 16phase for cpu (like ROG P45 series), nice work ASUS

    regards

it doesn't from looks of it

i have Asus P5E3 DLX (X38) board with that linux thing but it doesn't work unless i flash the to first even bios release

shame really but i guess if you know what you're doing you can reflash that thing and make your own little bootable OS

Should come with Linux OS(Express Gate) It seems the whole P5Q series come with Express Gate. Very impressive features for a budget board. 8 phase VRM, 2 phase for MCH and DDR, which are only available for the premium series of the previous generation boards.

    haha, thanks my friend
i could tell some details, but still don't know about the NDA, so don't wanna get some trouble for XS or myself
but the BIOS is wonderful! it has a lot of memory settings, and voltages almost like a ROG mobo + OVP jumpers
i've reached 500fsb with E8400 easy, still working on more...

    Nice topic.

I hope u can try it with crossfire... Pci exp 2.0 go twice the old pci exp so 2 slot 8x could be more than enough for 2 3870... And I'm curious to see how they perform with crossfireX 4x... This mobo could be great with dual core clocking and multi gpu... Bye
