"THE BROTHERS UNITED" OC Session in Germany (15 people/175L LN2)

last weekend (09.-11.05.2008) we had our oc session in germany. 15 people and 175L LN2. it was great fun and we killed the LN2 in 17h.

organized by teurorist & august123 from extremecooling.net, so the most of the people have a lot experience with building cascades.

    here some pictures:

    the freaks:

Frostologe, Löwenzahn, moc, PhilippF, jowi69, toaster, Besi, stunned_guy, Jon, DerMalle
Unrockstar, Patrickclouds, gianni-gt, teurorist, feinel, august123

on the swiss-german border we had a little longer

the location was moosbeuren (germany). population: 1601. most of the area looks like this:

    pray for deep temps

a lot of very oldschool hardware:

one guy benched pentium II with superpi 1m runs over 3min.

    the cascades & ln2:

and of course the 7kg heavy monster-tube of besi:

the ambient was very cold in the night, but hey even better for world records

our guy for ln2, never wearing socks!

    no time to loose:

little challenge for the RMA of abit

the sandiego brothers was also there:

gianni-gt & stunned_guy / the magical fx-55 clawhammer wr run in the video

    the hidden intel system:

besi setted the new swiss mhz record with his little-monster-tube to 7.4ghz

between the sessions we checked out the quad-stage-cascade of august123:

that thing is huge!! for more detail check http://www.extremecooling.net/index/...opic.php?31681

on sunday we had some dice fun:

    and a memory burnin:

for more pics check http://www.bastel-gianni.ch/projekte/ln2germany.htm (over 200 photos) or download the video of the session:

Very nice session was that. Its a shame that the opteron 154 and 156 didnt goes over 4 ghz But next time it will be possible. That FX-55 Clawhammer was great first time for me with an AMD over 4 ghz.

hehe yes... it was really funny. the guy with his P2 & P3 cpu's. he noted all records down on a paper... handwritten! benching w/o internet is shiddy.
