    You're right... Looking at AMD's 2007 financials, they are actually losing a little shy of $900 million a quarter. Not the meager half billion the original poster pointed out. Thanks for the clarification

    Although, admittedly, AMD will probably only lose $1 billion this year. An optimist would point out that this is less than 1/3rd of the loss AMD suffered last year. The pessimist would point out that this is still 1/6th of their revenue.

    cool, seems amd is doing SOMETHING.taps fingers waiting for advanced metallurgical processes. some one wake me when they see some HF02 and such

    I though the 6 core wasnt native,hmm guess I have been out of the loop a while.
