Your so close to 1M WR can't you run any timming on your mem lower? Is it already totally tweaked? If you bring up the frequency and the efficiency a little you'll have the WR

UNless he could find a DDR3 motherboard that could that kind of FSB,timmings real tight but maybe with a little more vdimm it might be possible(if he tries)

My Commando burned, i'm searching for something good like yours!
    I've 2 E8500 over 6ghz but i was chipset limited, same freq for each E8500, around 6050mhz...
    Keeeeeeeeep pushing it!
    Oh, that's too bad...
Me too, it's dead well, but is not dead recently.

I hope that you can get M/B that 2v setting in Vcore this time!
It runs well in proportion to a rise Vcore.
And try to cool nb to an extremity in LN2.
    Keep it up!

With you CPU it is a same batch code?

OC Windforce-san, how have you been?
    Yes, I have.
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=183
But I have sold it because Pi did not run with high clock.

    It is Q748A369 2V /3A this time.

    well done Duck San!
    Thanks erickwok. How are things?

I bought it recently and is not best.
This is ordinary MAXCLOCK, but can run pi with high clock.
    Therefore I like it.

    At first pifast.
    I succeeded for 634 X 9.5=15.69s, but failed in a save.
I used P965 Strap Tweker. However, 1coreBoot does more loss of time than 2coreBoot in pifast.
To my regret, this E8500 can show a performance only in 1coreBoot.
I checked that was able to run it to 642 X 9.5 on that day with eyes.
    As for super-pi,
I checked that I could run 642×9.5 on that day. I did not save it and did not use P965 Strap Tweker.
The OS is slow winXP not server 2003, because I did not aim at a record on that day. I checked a performance of some E8500s which bought newly recently.
So I have E8500 of the high performance than this E8500, I am going to aim at a record in the near future. But I will not use P965 Strap Tweker.
It is very effective in Pi first and Pi-8M, but there is not the so big effect in 1M. Besides, clock is hard to go up.
M/B and memory are important not a CPU.

I don't yet see whether WR is possible in E8500 which I used this time,
but it seems that 7.4 or 5s is certain if I try it with a purpose as super-pi even if I do not use Strap Tweker.
I intend to make score better a little.

Great work! Even if you don't seemed too convinced by it, that SuperPi 1M WR is not that far, actually it is pretty close. Congrats Duck-san
