Mine should arrive Tuesday, any difference from "your" board to a retail one?
Did you test AMD Overdrive 2.0.9?

    Thanks.

The Overdrive will not work with this board because the nV chipset. Anyway I suggest you that forget the whole AOD sh*t.

    Dear 'aGeom'.

I think AOD only Support AMD's chipset.

This MOBO is NVIDIA's Chip. So 'Littleboy' can't test AOD.

I think this amazing record is not MOBO's abillity. I think Processor is very very very GOOD!.

But only that CPU works same clock on AMD 790FX MOBO.(Littleboy is my friend.)

This CPU is handpicked sample(by AMD Korea).

    CPU is very very Good.

I bought same stepping CPU seven times.(0811*6 0810*1) but all of them can't post over 3.0(200*15)Ghz.

So. This result is not MOBO's abillity.

With a little "hack", AOD works (more precisely: cpu fid works) with nVidia chipsets The "hack" is found here in the forum.

Edit: Hack is found here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...light=aod+hack

Why didnt you get 7x 0810 instead of 6x 0811 the 0810 looks much beter than 0811.

    BadNizze its a "0810"

If i´m not wrong i think Tonys chip also is "0810" and this is also "0810" and both do very well.

    Dear getfeus

You are very polite by call me as "Dear aGeom", I'm not a formal person, you can call me just by my nickname or Paulo if you will.

Now, AOD as you can see in the following posts runs on NVidia chipset, I run it on an nforce 590a before, without hack ( http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...9&postcount=47 ).

Maybe you have it right, since Tony could clock his Phenom 9850BE@3500 on DFI 790FX, and I could not, with the 2 Phenom 9850BE I had on the "same" board. I didn't bought the Crosshair II, thinking that I can run the 9850BE @3500, I know my CPU limit, I just want to test the board and compare it with the ones I had/have, and also to check if the IDLE "bug" occurs in a different chipset than AMDs chipset.

    Thanks.Be well...

    Paulo

His chip might be handpicked but mine wasn't. I got the exact same stepping 0810 AMPW. Search through the 9850 X4's on hwbot and u'll c my results on air on the Gigabyte 790FX-DS5 (usernames Miskeh).
Now I'm hoping that the coldbug is more motherboard related as atm my chip refuses to boot with my frozen ss. Its a shame the crosshair II costs the same as a e8400 + p35

I reckon you run a 32bit OS? The hack is only needed with 64bit OS. And AOD only gives limited options in nVidia chipsets (in my experience at least). But you got nTune
