G80 has two six pins one eight and one six. Also the NVIO chip has only 2 mount holes not four.

It is not a backwards thing, is just that you have so many transistors and the GPU is so big already that you just move part of the GPU out from it. Then as in G80 we could see a refresh that has just 1 chip solution.guys why the hell would nvidia pedal backwards and have that chip externally again
