    Looks like g80 8800gtx to me.... the nvio is a dead giveaway....

    There should be more memory for it to be a 8800GTX & the GTS had 4 chips left & up with 2 on the right, along with a different power setup.

    Perhaps the NVIO is seperate for the same reasons as in G80 (Die Size/Yields).

    Still seems a bit off though...

    G80 has two six pins one eight and one six. Also the NVIO chip has only 2 mount holes not four.

    It is not a backwards thing, is just that you have so many transistors and the GPU is so big already that you just move part of the GPU out from it. Then as in G80 we could see a refresh that has just 1 chip solution.
