    If the MB starts its Bios-Recovery you´ll be informed about starting the recovery-process through a message on the monitor.
    In fact this recovery-function works very well - I allready used it twice
    It isn´t like in those day, when you put your MB-CD in and hoped something will happen - now you can read every little stepp on screen.

    Just to say 1007 is best bios i have used i have had some time to test it now and memory performance is up which has been a problem for me + a few others. This wins for me best so far.

    Yep - 1007 best so far, with some work on it I can run 1000MHz @ tRFC 60 now:

    Im back to Maximus Extreme BIOS 1007
    This some problem with P5E64 WS Evolution on Maximus Extreme
    The CPU volt is not right
    CPU voltage [Auto] = 1.00xxV
    CPU voltage [1,8000] = 1.3800V

    Im got the CPU to boot @ 3.6GHz FSB 500MHz

    How Flash is done:

    simiri what afudos did you use etc ? When im trying to crossflash from 1007 afudos says uncombitable bios id with current bios id. =(

    Now i could flash but now the comp wont boot. All the led lights and freq. are on in all colors.

    I dont know if it's the cpu that can't run with that low voltage or if the mobo is gone?

    what CPU you use?

    The problem is after flash the default CPU volt is 1.00xxV

    tried to hold ctrl+home didnt work

    e8500

    it could boot on the lowest with normal bios but that was quite hard and not that low it was like 1.060

    Ctrl+home=Bios-Recovery
    You can not use Bios-Recovery to flash back ME bios.
    You must use AFUDOS to flash back ME bios.
