Just testing 3.28GHz, and it seems stable so far. If it is, I'll try for 3.4GHz, but I'm on a quite fussy MB, so it may not be possible for a 24/7 setup as I'd like.
I may try dropping the RAM freq from 1066MHz to 1000MHz and see if that helps any.

My Q9450 and Rampage X48 is on the way, can you give some setting to get on 3.0 or 3.2 stable?
thanks

I'm not talking about the prime run length. I'm talking about the iterations. I have about 13-15 lines with 4000Mhz. And not only 10. but well, it's a E3110.

Whoa...ok, BIG difference there COB... thanks for telling us the actual voltage 4 posts in!!!![]()
Anyway, I get the same voltage (1.375 in bios, 1.36 load CPUz).
Im also quite curious about this PRime thing and what is wrong with it.......
Sorry. I was in a rush for work this morning and forgot to slide down the Everest window to show the vcore when I took the screenshot. And I've been at my dads for dinner ever since I posted it
If it really was 1.2v it would have a thread all to itself![]()

Nice run, Cob.Seems like that X3350 chip I sold (which could stay stable at 3.80GHz with only 1.304v real) was still the best gem.
Ahh... I sooo want to see another 4GHz stable chip.
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 3.20GHz (1.07v vCore!)
RAM: 2GB Kingston HyperX 800MHz
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 4870 @ 780/1000 (default)
Vcore doesn't really seem to play a part in these chips anyway. The FSB wall is hit long before the vcore gets dangerous.
Even the Q9550 doesn't look like it's getting past 4ghz too often, even under phase.
