OCZ 1066 sped ready for test

    http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/fo...424#post268424

now guys...this is for OCZ 2GB only modules, it boots the boards at 1066 so make sure the modules you have are able to do at least 1066 on other platforms.

let me know how it works for you.

I still have problems booting with 2 OCZ2RPR1066GK's i can run fine at 800 with all 4 gigs but soon as it goes up to 1066 im bombay. I take one stick out and i run fine at 1066... im not sure as i understand whats going on there but hey what ever. Also with both sticks in my Bios will actualy freeze up on my M3A32-MVP Deluxe. I might reload my old SPD and try a single stick that way manualy setting it to 1066 and seeing if it boots with the lower timings. Or maybe i just have one bad stick of ram? any help is app. =)

*EDIT* I took the timings out that you have posted here Tony i still boot just fine i belive the tRFC is 36. But soon as that 2nd stick goes in its toast. Your timings work fine on my board but then agin so does stock =/ Not sure if that helps you any.

Although at the moment not usefull for me, nice work though!

Also, those Flex II's, how are these? What chips? Maybe I might get a pair of those, but only if the cooling on that is making sense. It looks very good, no offence, but is that cooling there for lolz or really helping things?

Flex2 is uber bin PSC, most is binned to 1200 so 1150 should come easy. NOW...I have not done much testing on Phenom with them due to the size of the heatspreaders.

Currently on your SPD File Tony and so far so good. This makes life a little simpler with setting up Bios from Flash or clear cmos. Thank you

... Binned means 'guaranteed' by IC MFR right? So it might be possible to go even higher?

binned means that OCZ tested the IC's to that speed, not guaranteed by the IC manufacturer.

only board you can use with them is the DFI, remember the slots are usually side by side on AM2+ boards

    Hi, Tony
What would you like me to do see the lowest Voltage possible on 5/5/2008 Beta with default Modual Timings from Boot or My usual Timings set which is 5-5-5-18-23 195ns if its the latter of the two then I can run those Timings at 1.87vdimm @2800mhz

I'd imagine memtest86+ v1.70 for 100+ passes test #5, followed by Prime Blend for 12hrs+? At least, that's what I'd do.

Maybe some quick SPI32M just for fun to see how low you can go?

I've yet to try Vantage myself, I haven't put Vista on any of my systems yet.

I'm eager to see how low people can go with this SPD on some nice D9's. 2.1v? 2.0v? 1.9v?

    Hi Tony, RyderOCZ

I bought today a pair of OCZN1066SR2GK 2x1Gb, to use with the Crosshair II or DFI 790FX-M2R, the Crosshair II will arrive tomorow, so I just plug it on the DFI, and it couldn't boot at 1066 (My system was running at 1066 before) 01 error, tried 5-5-5-15 rest AUTO from 1.9v to 2.2v, only booted manually at 800, default is 667 .
Before I post here I went to OCZ forum searching for an answer, I found this, can I use that SPD for my boards. The PCB is black and have OCZ word on it.
Here is a copy of my SPD, need to remove .txt extension, SPDTool 0.62 was used to save it.

    Thank you for any help.
