    MCR320 & TFC Xchanger360 fan spacing

    i just received my now case MM U2-UFO with the front panel fan spacing for Swiftec and BlackIce.
    i would like to know if TFC Xchanger360 will fit without modifying the case.

    you can find Malik's post that has linkies to PDF giving the specs of the Feser rads here...

    iirc, swiftech gives their rad specs also on their site...

    Malik notice a smal gap between the fans (~1.5mm) that you don't find in the black ice or swiftech radiators.

    You can always just mount the RADs using one fan mount. I'm sure it is good enough

    IIRC, current fan spacing goes like this.

    Black Ice=15mm
    Feser=17mm
    Swiftech=19mm
    Thermochill=24.5mm

    Why? Last time I looked, 17mm was between 15mm and 19mm.

    Well, Malik posted the PDF drawings of the Feser rads the other day and they say 17mm. I also checked BI drawings shortly after that and confirmed that they are indeed 15mm. The older Swifties were also 15mm but then Gabe or whoever decided to be different/difficult and changed them to 19mm, that was that last size I heard............just checked Swiftech's site to confirm and they are indeed 19mm.

    Good grief! Guess they switched it back to 15mm and haven't switched the layout drawing on the site just to be difficult.

    OK! New order.

    BI=15mm
    Swiftech=15mm
    Feser=17mm
    TC=24.5mm

    Thanks iandh

    Happy now NaeKuh?

    Yeah, I can vouch that the MCR-220 I bought about a month ago had 15mm fan hole spacing. I remember expecting that I'd have to grind the holes outwards on my MM case, but was surprised when I actually had to grind inwards to make it fit.

    Incidentally, I guess this would mean that you could stick an MCR rad onto the Cosmos S case.
