On the other hand, seems like there is not a single E5420 rig in hwbot's database... am I correctly assuming that I would get a load of points for submitting some scores then?

No, I don't think so. Your asus board seems to be really nice to this memory.
The ST board can't touch it. Either that ot you lucked out and got the best FBDimms that exist!

Yeah we'll never know. If only there was a VTT pinmod for xeons, mobo and ram can handle FSB450... Hey MM: What do I chose for "processor" in the "submit results" page? 2x because it's 2 CPUs? Or 8x because it's 8 cores?

which test? you can submit most benchmarks via threads here...some styuff you'd question the harvest bot will fill in for you...so you'd put 2x E5420 in threads here....

I will get in on what I can but my E63 doesn't OC for and my PD805 probably isn't going to give me much. Maybe I can get another 8800GTX and do some air tests with 06 and Vantage.

looking through hwbot, i found that i made an error. there are k6-2's but none overclocked as high as mine. also, it seems like its time to bust out the cyrix 686 and tnt2

why not? if we can get 60 peeps to do 100 points we got it. 100 points cant be THAT hard to do... especially if you are just starting out and have a weird assortment of computer parts that you can throw together to get those points that nobody else can compete with. i.e. i have a cyrix 686 somewhere in my closet, along with a amd dx4 100mhz, p3's, p2, and a bunch of other ancient crap that is bound to be worth some points. ive got a full amd-k6 2 rig at my disposal... thats like 7 people to compete against... worth at least another 40 points for 3dmarks, aquamark, superpi etc. just stack the hardware and use hwbot like how its supposed to be used. get the best score for your hardware. for those of us without ss or cascade or dice or ln2 (i have none ) rigging up these old pos systems and benching them (just running at default) is worth points. best in hardware anybody? yea.. i will have the best amd 80486DX4 i promise you. and im only in it to contribute points.
