    Yeah I read about vdroop, I just got it to show 1.51 in BIOS voltage readings and it still wont boot into windows.

    cpu is very hot now, I think that is my limiting factor. I disabled C1E and EIST.

    Right now im testing 400x6, stable as hell. Im going to keep bumping it up and see what i can find.

    For the sound, check the little metal box that contains the ps/2 mouse port. If you squeeze it with your fingers, does it go away? I had the same problem (though it wasn't real loud), and I ended up putting a binder clip on it to quiet it down mostly...
