    Not really.

    You bring it into the equation when adding more vcore starts to have little or no effect on its own.

    Well i just tried my first overclock, and had to up Vcore quite a few steps to get the cpu stable @ 3.2GHz, but I left everything else alone. So there's no chance I might be able to back it off a bit using vtt (or anything else for that matter) ?
