I did a couple runs with a borrowed 6800GT until my 9800GTX arrives, I got 0 points after submitting 5 runs.

Hopefully after getting the 9800GTX and running my X2 at 3.6Ghz I should be able to gain a couple good points towards this contest. Poor Ol' Liberty 500watt is getting a bit dated but still hanging in strong with no voltage drops.


*EDIT*Looks like its time to break out the benching drive, and pulling the motherboard from the case for this one.*

Now it shows I earned 1.5 points. I guess it takes a few minutes to earn points.

I've seen points show up a full day later, I think it depends on several things. for instance hw rank points may show up later than global points, mine changes all the time.

need clarification, i already have a ID registered with some other team, now i do new benches, create a new HWbot id, join xtremesystems, post the scores, then post the same score on my other ID as well, is it possible/legal?????

Illegal. Please only use one account to submit your results to, if not, it'll be a mess and one of the two is bounded to be banned.

Stay honest with the points, any cheating and you will be removed. Its good that everyone can watch everyone.

Charles, if you have any questions/doubts regarding certain members/scores, please don't hesitate to ask. This is a great contest and only honest people should be winning here

Normally the bot recalculates the points every hour, though, sometimes it doesn't calculate all results or some issues occur. If you submit in the evening, you'll see your points the very next morning .

6800GT was a hugely popular video card so you'll be up against the OC bigshots for all your benches

Hm, never been to hwbot before... need to check it out though. Even if I don't win, I'm gonna try and help the team get to be #1 again.
One small question ahead: If I have a rig with great CPU power (Octacore) and another one with less CPU but more GPU power, can I use one rig for CPU and the other for GPU benches? Or does it have to be always the same one?

HWbot automatically seperates hardware based on what the bench is...cpu-reliant benches are based on which cpu is used, best score for each hardware counts. 3Dmarks are gpu-reliant, so best score for each gpu scores.
