The reason your temps are high is because having smaller tubing will make the pump push the water through really fast, water going TOO fast by the copper on the waterblock CAN create heat.

You should look into getting chipset blocks like the MCW30's or some EK's, and maybe some 7/16" ID tubing.
You've got quality components in your rig, but you can cool it better with an air cooler compared to some of the watercooling gear you've got in there now.

I think your doing a great job improving on this build, some here might not like some of the things you've got.
But what really matters is if YOU like it and that it WORKS.

Keep up the good work m8!

Ok here is my contribution guys.

CM690 modded and painted. Dual loops with a PA 120.3 on each. The GPU loop is supposed to be SLI but Im waiting on an RMA for the 2nd card. The CPU loop is going to include the FETs and the NB in the future which is why I have it on its own loop.

This is only my 2nd loop ever (first one was about 2 weeks ago) so please feel free to critique! Im not thin skinned and would appreciate any comments or advice.

The wires need a tad more tidying, and I need to trim my fill lines as well as perhaps reposition the one going to the top pump. I also am going to get some modders mesh and make a cover for the lower right open area which used to be HD bays to cover up the wires stuffed behind there.

    WOW! Excellent job there m8!!

Looks great. What GPU block(s) are you using? MCW60 or D-Tec GFX?

    MCW-60

I think its a decent job, but Im really not happy with the position of the top pump located a the bottom of the 5.25 bays. You cant see it, its hidden in those pics from the fill lines.

    Thx for the encouraging words

    Any recommendations/suggestions always appreciated.

I cool! I didn't even think of the pump, couldn't see it!

    No problem!

One thing that I personally don't like seeing to much is empty tubing.... like at the top of your T-lines, I would fill them up and hide the ends of them somewhere in the 5.25" bay area.
So then all you would see are the black T's and green liquid filled tubing, thats what I like

I personally think you should switch to black or green coolant. Green just isn't my style for coolant. Also, as smee said, shortening some of the tubing would definitely improve the looks. Other than that, looks good.

Am using 7/16 tygon tubing and my pump is much stronger than the D5 at 18v.

I donīt think any air setup will handle a B3 at 3.4Ghz better i feel the problem might be my rad.

Shocker, I like but...I think you need to remove those restrictive Alphacool blocks. I think that's your biggest problem now, that and maybe 12/10 tubing next time, 8mm I.D. is still a bit small.
Maybe i will change them in future becos of looks, but they are doing their jobs well. My chipsets 9°c above room temp when my cpu is idle.

My core 0 is always 15°c above the room temp and core 1 and 3 are equally 11°c above the room temp too(idle). 100% load they can reach 56°c for the hottest core with room temp at 25°c. As for the fan grill i had to install them becos, i once got a cut on my finger from the exhaust fan. I use three silverstone FM 121 fans on my rad. I dont know if the rad can really handle the heat from all the hardware in my loop. Am thinking of adding a Swiftech MCR220 240mm Radiator to my loop, but i donīt know if it will help.

Just do a search for "MO-RA", "MORA", or "mora" to find many many more topics discussing just how pathetic the rad really is.

My problem is how can i get my cpu cooler, the NB and SB donīt run hot expect when i have the cpu at 100% load. I donīt think that 9°c above room temp when idle is bad for my chipset. please correct me if am wrong
    Meanwhile am using 7/16" tubing.

STDU007 is it the liquid or tubes that are UV?
Nice job with the cables as well.
Is there an elbow on the rear mounted rad?

doesn't effect temps though. flow doesn't either. only when you have a difference of 100gpm / 1200gpm It's all a bit too overrated.

just don't use thermal compound and lap your IHS and block as good as possible. I got rid of the compounds, and now my loads went from 62c to 54c. :S

    Worst. Advice. Ever.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? The only case in which not using TIM will improve your temps is if you apply far too much.
