I got one for $49 from my local best buy about a week ago. Got it set up and watercooled. It owns.

is it just me or is the front of this case kinda rickety. It kinda screeches of you put pressure on the front of the case as the aluminum between the slot covers and the slots rubs together.

Oh ok, so you have the fans on bottom, blowing up into the radiator and out of the case?

I had the same problem on mine, except worse. Everytime I opened the front panel, the aluminum would rub together making a horrible screech and scratch the paint away. I spent some time trying to sand the metal out, yet it kept doing that when I already sanded 1-2mm out. I decided to return it.

pushing or pulling depends on which radiator you have (fin density)

    less dense = push

    more dense = pull

iirc, correct me if im wrong guys

Budwise, cable management FTW. Other than that, it looks good, however.

couldnt get it much better than that unfortunately. The cables have to reach so far they end up not being long enough to route well. And as others have said, its a tough case for cable management and on top of that i'm not that great at it

Well at least you tried. I am a cable management Nazi, and this would driv me to stay up at night. Well, I am not that bad with cables, as I don't cut them short 9just in case for the future), and don't sleeve everything.

The extraneous space in the Rocketfish is about the only problem I have with this case.

    Thanks for sharing Budwise.

The hard drives would probably stay cooler if you moved the hard drive cage closer to the front fan. Also, where are your front IO ports now?

Four screws through the bottom of the case, one into each bottom corner of the cage. Then there is a top bracket that's used to stabilize the top.....it's attached to the motherboard tray and has two screws into the top of the rear cage, or the cage nearest the ps, and one screw into the top of the front cage, or the one closer to the front of the case.

Either or both can be removed at will.

I'm the one who drilled out the rear panel where the side fan mounts (it's in a separate thread in here...the gold/black painted RF case)....and the drilling out of the holes vastly improved the air flow! I'm using the fan in an exhaust mode and you can feel quite a bit of air flow out from my drilled out panel.....much, much more than there ever was through those stock restrictive holes.

So do you guys see this working or no? I plan on keeping the hard drive rack MAYBE. Im not sure. if I dont then it should be a hell of a lot easier. But with the rack.

What im asking is will it be too big to fit in this area? 6" on the res, + 3.5" on the pump and small tubing in between.

My case is still in the box, so i cant really tear it open right now!

Tubing would be shorter if you ran the pump to the MCW60 first, then the Fuzion CPU, then the rad. Also, know that the inlet for the MCP655 is the side, not the top... top is outlet.

Well I forgot to state that the pump will be mounted on the mobo tray. so the inlet would be on top and the outlet would be facing the side panel. Is there a decrease on performance running it to the GPU block first? or it doesnt matter?

No. Theoretically, water is coolest when coming out of the rad, but putting the rad before or after the blocks won't make a notiable difference at all. Water temperature evens out (with the exception of maybe .1C) in a closed loop.

Try and order your blocks so that tubing is minimized.
