I'm sorry, the other stuff was in the context of Value and Performance. Example spend crap load of money to how get how much more performance? The extra cost of the board is associated with getting more performance. You nor I can act as if we're talking about either in a VOID.

I merely said that in most cases the Industry thinks Enthusiasts means Crazy Geeks with more money than Brains and overprice their Enthusiast Labeled stuff at insanely higher prices? So Foxconn launched the Blackops with Dollar signs in their eyes. More power to the folks who like and think it is OK. I didn't think this forum was only for approving and not dissenting.

For that we should thank BOTH (AMD and Intel) companies!

    Its a concept board...
FOXCONN has one of the largest revenues amoung mobo manufs to my knowledge... However, they havent been targeting the highend segment before, ever... So its mostly a showoff, they want to show that they can make quality products as well... I dont think the QF program, and the products involved is ment to make profit, but to promote the company...
    - The boards deliver an amazing performance, and Im sure that many people from xtremesystems.org as well as OCX, bleedingedge and other big highend segment communities will find the boards attracting...

Oh Pa-Lease, I know who Foxconn is. They built one of my first 440BX Intel branded motherboard. It's more like look at the suckers paying all that cash for motherboards, let's get in on it too!

Amazing is used wayyyy the hell too much in this market and on this forum. If it had more than one CPU socket, two north bridges, Serial attached SCSI and etc.. for that same $400. Then that'd be amazing The only thing bleeding here will be folks' wallets. Now that's find as another poster posted, it is not my Money so big deal! Also I don't get a marketing cut either I don't mean to just pick on Foxconn because until now, they'd stayed clear of these shenanigans! All of them are guilty of this crap IMHO, again not just aimed at Foxconn!

This is right up there with the Killer NIC and etc... At least the $559 Skulltrail board looks like at least it has the features to run up its costs.

I am not sure why you are so angry for the price of this mobo with all of the stuff you get with it vs what I just paid for 1 month ago for my Asus Striker II Extreme $500.0 + and my mobo just took a crap on me like 3 hours ago. If this thing is stable then it will be worth the price. I notice on newgg reviews when the S2E came out all of the cry babies crying up a storm because of the price. Stop beating a dead > < horse it is noted that you can not afford this MOBO.. Move on....

This is soooo tempting. Since I'm going to be setting up some irrigation loops anyway, I can rationalize away the price of a NB waterblock right away... if I can rationalize just a little bit more I can probably persuade my brain to go for it. Man, if that cool 5.25" panel is included that'll be all I need he he .

Not angry, amazed LOL! I think the Striker is an even worse RIP Off. It is noted that I can afford this board and would buy a Skulltrail first though if I were in the market for something higher performance. The problem is I don't like wasting money on something I think is meant for suckers, hehehe! > < Now I understand why the manufactures think Enthusiast means more money than brains.

For the extra coin over something like the Abit talked about earlier, 2 more Frames is worth what again? What 525MHz FSB over 545 FSB is worth how much again?
