    OK, I just got done putting a new cooler on my DFI, so while it was out I took measurements. The mounting holes appear to be 77mm apart (center to center), and entire backplate looks like it should be around 87mm long. The top end has only about 5-7mm of clearance before it hits the motherboard mounting hole right above that.

    Yes you are right. Just measured mine as well.

    The backplate has to be at least 80 to 85mm but I could not find any already made with that size so a good plate would be this 107mm from Koolance:
    http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=659

    And then each would trim and punch holes if needed.

    I would guess the Ek Mosfet Backplate would do also (but I don't have their exact measurement) and they are sold out everywhere.

    And use mouse pad as isolation.

    Also mosfets might be in different height, so do I need to use more 'thick' thermal compound, to compensate this difference? Will MX-2 be good for it?

    And MIPS block covers 2 long details PCL0007 near mosfets, does Watercool block cover it too?
    1) Mosfet have the same height (at least is what I can see by naked eye);

    2) MX-2 will work just fine;

    3) Sadly MIPS mosfet block has a flaw in the project. The extra long cover to touch the CPL's chips are useless and they bring a) unnecessary and unbearable heat to the loop (if you use quadcore), b) uneven surfaces to try to manage (the CPL's are higher then the mosfets so that will be very hard to adjust).

    That's another reason we decided to go with Watercool.de instead, they only cover what needs to be cooled: Mosfets.

    Does the watercool block get in the way of the SMD's? I noticed that they are higher than the mosfets.

    Exclamation The time has come!

    Ok guys we have to act quickly now they put 10 up in stock for us so I need the 1st 10 ppl in the list to send Paypal payment for our order.

    - Jor3llBR;
    - Gogeta;
    - Sickboy;
    - WoZZeR999;
    - Boyu;
    - X2Beach;
    - NeoGeo;
    - Ababich;
    - Systemviper;
    - mrLader;

    If someone give up I will include next one on the list.

    The price is 239DKK (US$50,00) + shipping to USA.

    So I would ask US$62,00 to my account from each one, that should cover everything (Block + Shipping to USA + Paypal fee).

    I will ask for additional payment if something costs more then estimated and will refund any extras if not needed.

    Send payments to jor3llbr@gmail.com (verified Paypal account) and please link this add to the payment so we have a binded deal. Also don't forget to add your XS nick.

    This has to be done as soon as possible so they secure them in stock.

    As soon as the order is done I will post receipt.

    Any questions or requests of my personal information please send PM.

    Order #21836

    Arrive at their stock - awaiting users payment!

    Price: US$ 50,00 + Shipping will be less then US$ 25 for the full purchase ($5 each buyer).
    The Mips would cost us a overwhelming US$70 +US$40 shipping!

    Well I came across the same problem as many DFI P35, X38 and X48 users.
    The DHL shipping from Germany to USA is too expensive for such a little product.
    So how about we all unite here in US and make a group buy and divide the shipping costs?
    Not many but a max of 5 users per order so it will be easier to keep track. Inputs are welcome.

    The full price is $67 per MCH1149/MCH149 (Mosfet Freezer) so we will try to get a deal on that and split the shipping. We decided to get the Watercool HeatKiller SW-16 (fully compatible with X38, X48 and P35) because it costs around $46 + shipping and it's proven to be more effective then the Mips because it doesn't touch the CPL's.

    MOST VOTED IS WATERCOOL HEATKILLER SW-16 Please see if you guys are still interested in getting that one instead of MIPS. I'm still in!

    **** PARCIAL LIST FOR Watercool HK SW-16****
    ::::1st Batch List::::
    - Jor3lBR; **PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - Sickboy; **PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - WoZZeR999; **PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - Boyu; **PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - Ababich; **PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - Systemviper;**PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - mrLader; **PAYMENT RECEIVED**
    - X2Beach.

    ::::2nd Batch List::::
    - NeoGeo;
    - MoreGooder;
    - T_ski.

    If they ship more then 5 this list will also receive blocks at the same time as batch one. Also if anyone on the first list pull out it will be replaced buy someone here.

    Ok guys I ordered and already paid for 8 mosfet blocks (HK SW-16) and so far now received payment for 7.

    I will post ORDER details and TRACKING number when I arrive from work latter.

    I know they still have 1 in stock so one of these on the list that wish to get the last 2 blocks please come forward:

    - X2Beach;
    - NeoGeo;
    - MoreGooder.
    - t_ski (taking gogeta's place if none of the above come forward).

    We have 2 ppl that still can get in this batch so if X2Beach pay then the rest will have to wait till 2nd batch.

    But as I said I can wait forever, if nobody reply t_ski will have the chance to get one.

    Thanks!

    If one of them won't come up with payment by the needed date, LMK and I'll pick one of these up.

    Now I'll just need to find an EK NB5...

    My apologies for the delay. I've been swamped at work and wasn't even aware this was happening until I checked my email very late last night.

    Please allow t_ski to take my place in the list and remove me. As of now I'm very indecisive about build plans and am having a hard time finding free time. I don't want to get in the way of this effort. Thanks for understanding.

    Group is now closed and we only have one slot with pending payment (SystemViper) but he pmed me and said that was going to send payment today.

    So that's it folks the order is closed for 8 SW-16 from Watercool.de and vcore is already out of stock (probably 1 left that will sell soon enought).

    I'm glad we did this and I want to thank everybody for the cooperation and quick payment.

    Hopefully this will arrive soon and I will start the domestic shipment to addresses received thru Paypal, if someone wants me to send to a diferent shipping address then whats registered in Paypal let me know.

    Regards!

    By any chance is there an estimated delivery date? The PNL tracking site seems to be down, and I was just formulating a plan for putting all the parts in (and when I need to have the rest of the parts by).

    hEY sKY,

    Last time I checked I got this:
    Tracking Events for Package-ID CC460988389DK
    Event Location Date/Time Status
    EDI Created 2008-05-01 18:20 Status OK, Registered
    Posting/Collection Copenhagen/DK 2008-05-02 21:20 Status OK, Scanned
    Departed from outbound terminal Copenhagen/DK 2008-05-05 08:09 Status OK, Scanned
    Sorted at terminal Terminal 2008-05-06 10:07 Status OK, Scanned
    Sorted at terminal Terminal 2008-05-06 10:48 Status OK, Scanned
    Departed from inbound terminal Terminal 2008-05-06 12:27 Status OK, Scanned

    So it already left DK and Jonas said it takes 6-9 days to arrive in US and US is a BIG country so I would expect a little more to get in AZ.

    But they are coming soon enough (now that we waited for so long).
