It can but it gets rejected for validation unless they're all alike

Good Phenom you have there mate and thanks for the info

    Max NB?
    Max HT?

Why did you use wPrime 1.61?
It's slow and neither official, use v1.55 and that should be sub 11s I'm thinking.

Littleboy, nice overclock, but... maybe I am blind or something, since nobody asked about it yet.

What voltage do you need to get to 3570MHz?

And what are the temps? I see you watercooled you chip, is that water like.... extra cool?

I does seem that its for sale now here. One etailer has it in stock. So it wasn't canceled. I wonder why Asus took it down from their website though. One question. Does this board support Power State Inspector? If yes i;d really like to see a Power consumption comparion for Phenom with a 790FX board

^ Highly doubt it.. those who have it usually boast about it on the first marketing line

    i.e. ASRock boards.

Yeah its a a known problem, happens for me too. Just forward it to Franck and let him check your files out, most this way are valid.

Hmm.. first time I've seen it and it wrongly says 3200 on all cores. Its never worked for me this way, ever, on that board too - anything different you're doing?

My Asus supplier has loads of em in stock, expensive though I'm just not sure I can justify these sort of expensive motherboards anymore. In $ you are talking $340 inc. shipping, roughly (once converted from &#163

Asus have it listed on their site here

Thought we could compare...this is Crossfire X 3870x2's

Will run off a single card also...just thinking the price of the Crosshair + card could equal 790fx with 2 cards and get you a faster system

Edit: ran off a singe card...seems I still win

Thats a bold statement, why not prove why for us

Remember HTT clocking is ONLY useful for getting ram speed where you want it, it adds no performance as you are just manipulating overall HT which is used to decide processor clock speed.

So If the Crosshair is so good, show us why ?

I know prolly as much as you do,

but AFAIK it's not forbidden to show pics. After all those pics are already available on Asus site I think.

I think it's not allowed to show technical information, results in benchmarks compared to other components. But as you said, what do I know?

A faster system at 3dmark. if you really wanna bench 3dmark you wouldn't even be considering an AMD cpu anyway.
