My Skulltrail @ Vantage

I got a late start on Vantage (last night) and had a bit of trouble with my Physx card so I had to pull it. First results @ 4Ghz from the rig in my sig. I will put the AC on tonight and get some better runs out when I get off work.

In performance I hold a nice frame rate, in hard preset runs pretty good. I need to switch monitors to run Extreme preset.

From what I can see now it looks like CPU score doesnt help the end score very much. I will rip it up at 5.6+Ghz now that I got a different license.

Awesome cant wait to see the score. It seems that the extra cores help the physix but thats about it.

I think just plain old quad sli will own in vantage period . Skulltrail really isnt needed if you get the gpus high enough. It scales alot like 03
The difference between a properly tweaked 790i/skulltrail is only a few hundred points with same gpu clocks.
Vantage is really awesome....I totally love this benchmark. Not too long and it runs great on quad SLI, finally we can see how quad sli scale with a more up to date benchmark. I'm loving Vantage BIG TIME and I'm planning on benching THE HELL OUT OF IT.

The loading screens do take quite a bit of time, I am even running 4x Raptors in raid 0.

How many BSODS?? I have had one BSOD when I first install the benchmark about 100 runs ago and thats it!! and it was driver related nothing to do with the bench. It's amazingly stable with 174.74+ and quad sli. Very smooth and scales good. A bit different than my 06 quad experiences

I didn't have to reboot often, because with too high GPU clocks, it crashes, but you don't have to reboot. What I meant was the loading screens of the benchmark take some time to go away, especially the first grahics test

hmm i had a issue with my physx card also

it corrupted my cmos...
which made me to flash the cmos back and
overclock from scratch
also had to change back my 9800gx2 from pcie 2 to pcie 1..
and had to increase my PLL/SB voltage from 1.5 to 1.6

30k for cpu score is just insane..
