Run 9 x 333 Ben Rogers for 3ghz and ram at 800mhz at 4-4-4-12... can you run Vcore lower than that ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Yeah, of course. This is a 24/7 PC so I bumped it up a knotch or two just to make sure it doesnt crash when I go out really and in the night...Im pretty sure it is stable at 3000MHz with 1.35v or maybe even 1.3v. I tried 2800MHz on 1.25v and that was rock solid. Im only on the stock cooler.

Does my RAM (Geil Ultra PC6400) do CAS 4 at 800MHz though? Its got 2.1v up it at the moment to be safe and its at something like 920, and thats also stable.

So whats the consensus on max vcore for the e2160 under decent air cooling (scythe Ninja)?
I see lots of people running 1.5 but I havent tried anything above 1.40 at Bios.

I'm looking into buying an E2140 which is the better one for overclocking L2 (SLA3J), or M0 (SLA93)?

    First of all: Hi all
I got E2180 @ 3GHz on 1.325V and if increase fsb +10 I have to set volts up to 1.4. Is it normal ?

    Oc

Yes it is. But if ur chip needs more Vcore to go higehr that 10 mhz then keep it at the lowest vcore possible with highest stable OC. increasing Vcore for little OC is not worthy!

    Hi,

I just came to say that I've one E2180 @ 3000mhz @1,20vcore still testing for max FSB, with an DFI Blood Iron and some Team Elite PC6400 2x1024mb.

Later I will edit this post with max FSB with some screenshots.

E2200 btw, M0 - SLA8X, meant to clock well but...3404Mhz is the most Ive got cpu-z to verify at so far, 3500 I tried and it didnt lock up straight away (1.6v bios, 1.548 actual) it said it had saved the cvf file but then it BSOD and I had to reboot and it hadn't actually saved the file at all! Got a new heatsink/fan for it though and it has made the temps superbly better over the retail hsf. 24/7 I run it at 3045MHz 1.4v because its a lot easier and works out nicely for my RAM and is practically at the limit of my PC6400 Geil Ultra @ 5-6-6-13, havent tried tighter cos it seems not to make much odds to anything - best super pi ive had so far is 19s.

BTW, my DS3 Gigabyte won't do more than 340MHz FSB.

I have an E2160 M0 cpu with an Asus Pundit2 barebone. The chipset in the barebone is the P945, with support for 1066 fsb and 1333 (OC) fsb, so I'll give it a try this weekend

Picked up this little beauty for £20 last week. Should easily beat my 3.45ghz E2140.

I haven't had time to clock it yet, but it's running at 3.1ghz on a touch over stock volts (1.25v is stock).

    Hi,

I think i have a quite good 2160, but I have some difficulties to reach a high FSB.
Under radbox, I reach 435Mhz FSB. With vcore stock (1.32v), OCCT 1h 3Ghz is done.
I have tried to go higher in frequency, but it seems that even with 1.4v, it's hard to go up to 3.2ghz...This cpu seems to dislike volts

I will post my validations (for instance, it's 1.44.1 validations uuh) and my screens later.

    P5K Premium
    Geil Black Dragon PC6400

    - 1.45vcore (ignore CPU-Z, will not boot at anything higher) - These little blighters are hot on air.
(My first E2140 hit a wall at 325FSB....- just goes to show you can still get a crap chip)
