Did everyone miss DFI P45 at Cebit 2008?

Some, possibly old news Cebit 2008 coverage can be seen here.

Scroll about 1/4 of the way down, and you find a LANParty DK P45-T2R,a LANParty DK X38-T2R (old I know), and the LANParty P45-T3R. I don't think I've seen anyone mention the two DFI P45 boards here, so...

I've been impatiently waiting for DFI to announce their P45 DDR2 boards before I decide what I'm upgrading to. Anyone got any info?

    LANParty P45-T3R

LANParty DK P45-T2R (top) and LANParty DK X38-T2R (bottom). I know the picture isn't the best.

the TR3 looks fantastic! lots of PCI and very clean board. nice cooling and very roomy as well. if it was only DDR2 it would be almost perfect.

I wanted to put some Cebit coverage on my site but time didn't allow me.

I'm assuming the red jumper is the EZ Clear CMOS... is that blue thing also a jumper too? If so, what's it for?

    I hope DFI do a midrange (~£70-£80) P45 DDR3 board.

You're right the board in the closeup pics has DDR2 ram slots.

    What's dual BIOS? I haven't shopped for a motherboard in a while.

Also, does anyone know if Thermalright HR-09's would fit on the DK P45-T2R board? I'm planning on getting water for the processor and northbridge, so I will need something for the MOSFETs.

Two bios chips, one is the "live" chip, the other the "backup", if you screw up one you can restore the bios form the other chip.

Hmm, strange how you want expensive memory to run on a cheap motherboard.

    It's ddr2 by it's name T2, T3 is ddr3.

I hope the T2R does high fsb to use with the Wolfdales.

I just think it's a waste of money atm to get a ddr3 system in lga 775. I'm sure it will be a much better idea with Nehalem based systems as it should offer greater bandwith and lower latency, by then ddr3 will be cheaper. In that case DFI should make an awesome board.

The best DDR3 so far has been the early D9GTR & GTS...
But yes, with nehalem, it will show its valor..

nope, below X38 and X48. X38 offers CrossFire with 16 lanes each, P45 "only" offers 8 each.
