    Thx m8´s.

No, thinking 9800GX2 first one, them mabye quad-sli

You think a Magicool Pro II with 2 NB Blacksilent XL2 in pull config,
    is enough for a 9800GX2 ?

Okey, do you think one of the Magicool Xtreme II
could be enough for 2x9800GX2 ?

And putting the Magicool Pro II in the cpu loop insted.

    Smal update:

    I have made a trade, my QX9650 for a E8400 and a EVGA 9800GX2
Will receive the new part on Tuesday, hoping for 9x500

Also waiting on a aquagraFX 9800GX2 waterblock (geting it for free, mabye Ek later)
Then i will start building the second loop and rebuild the first loop.

    First loop will be:
Pump with XSPC Res top-> XSPC RS240 (with ZM-F3)-> Magicool Xtreme II-> EK-supreme-> EK-NB 780i-> EK-Mosfet-> pump with XSPC Res top

    Second loop will be:
    XSPC X20 400 (pump/res combo)-> Magicool Xtreme II-> aquagraFX 9800GX2 -> XSPC X20 400 (pump/res combo)

    New pic´s:

When I was a machinist, if I ever tried to pass of what's seen in the last 2 pics as a "finished part" that was ready to go out the door, I would have been called into the CEO's office and read the riot act. That machining quality is....well, piss poor* for lack of a child friendly, PC way of saying it.

*(Disclaimer: There may actually be a child friendly, PC way of saying this, it's just I'm not very PC.)

I am sure they will get smoother when the backlog starts to catch up. But that is no eexcuse for shotty workmenship, is that anyway that having all those ripples for lack of a better word would help the water by increasing turbulence and give lower temps... Hoiws that for grabbing at straws...

Still there is some thing very sexy about a big hunk of copper. I can't wait till I get closer to retirement and I can get my own mill and lathe....

Why is everyone jumping on these GX2's like its the hottest thing? It's a 8800 gt's PB&J(peanut butter and jelly) sandwich. My almost year and half old gtx single is a hair behind it and has more memory & bandwidth. With my sli, it crushes this card. Even two 9800 gx2's in "quad", only a tad better than tri sli with year-and-a-half old 8800 gtx's. BTW, gtx's go for around 200-250 on ebay now. Your a fool for purchasing this card. It isn't a new platform, it's a 8800 gt from six months ago with a markup. I just love the middle-high end gamers segment. So much money to be made from "must have it" idiots.

Its not 2xGT:s since they have only 112 shaders, 9800Gx2 has 2x128 shaders just like the GTS it is based on has(128) and is a light underclocked but easy do GTS-speed+ or GTS OC and some people donīt want to have nforcechipset since 680/780i sucks big time that is needed for SLI and for them 9800Gx2 is better than 3870X2.

The really fooled ones are the one that fall for the 9800GTX hype that is a 8800GTS OC but are capabel of tri sli and donīt give a boost worth the money over the GTX/Ultra/GTS512. The only benefit is it OC little bit more but not that it is worth anything, not even if they "get it for free" by stepup the performaceboost are to little over the cheap 8800GTS that is is insane to trade so there you have by your words "must have idiots".
My GTX is the next best buy i ever made in hard competion by the 7900GTO that i go +/-0 on when it was sold after 4 month, best was a 6800GT that died and was replaced by a 7800GS and i sold it for more than i payed for the 6800GT.
Even if i give my old 8800GTX away for free it has payed of it self so many times i donīt loose anything on that since i got it at release nov 2006.

My 9800Gx2 @OC and air crush my old 8800GTX@maxOC on water by at least 30% and i donīt expect a new card to be twice as fast as the old one all the time so i am not fooled by getting 8800GTS Sli in a package that i can run on my present X38 board before i go back to NV-chipset and 790iU when my maximus is dead since it is confirmed dieing.
Only spoiled ones expect that leap by every new step in cardrelease.

Only now with 790i Ultra something worth the upgrade from X38 is around from Nvidia and that is just in time for what is comming this fall.
