why don't you try the P35DS3P or P45DS3P

their DS3P is awesome imo

my gigabut boards killed 6 stix in 6 months 2.24-2.26v "2 dead boards in 3 months"
my last 1 did 575 fsb but bios voltage options was bs

i been on dfi 4+ months not 1 dead stick same psu same everything
gigabyte x38 was a nighmare for 24/7
only good for benching i did 580fsb on air

benching is fun dinos but it gotta be good for 24/7 too for we mortals

gigabut rushes to put out the boards n idiots like me rush to buy em

odds are i will but a p45 but odd are 2% in gigabuts favor favor if i buy another gigabut board

most of my benchmarking is done with those volts (2.4-2.8v)

i have not killed a single stick to date

however i know that those models you are referring to are not the best voltage regulation wise and they are certainly different cattle of fish to these DS3P boards

i think 2.4-2.8 is safe for benching
i've pumped 2.8+ into some value ram n they still kickin
well i paid 225$ for the p35c-dsr3 the day it came out i doubt the ds3p has a better vdimm voltage regulator than the p35c
anyways i gave the board to my son promos chips dont mind the bad vdmm regulator
gigabut rushes out to produce the boards i wont be no gigabut guinypig again
