Great stuff thx East, another reason to stick to XP hope they will release one too for XP64... works fine here just internet exploring sucks due to numerous 3rd party probs (namely flash player)
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

For all languages? I can't see anything mentioned about supported languages in that article, which is kind of weird as some other site was telling us that it would be released in 2 waves.
EDIT: I found the link from that other site (Tech ARP)

lol, yeah my experience with vista is that it runs like crap on notebooks, probably due to the slower harddrives.

Why don't they release sp3 untill june 10 on auto update while it's allready good to go right now?

You would have to install SP2 for Windows Server 2003.

The SP2 update can be applied to all Windows Server 2003 products and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

Thats not final. There is Currently Build 5503, 5508. That are RC2 Refresh.

Build 5511 is believed to be final.

Remember, Just because there isn't a Build Tag there, doesn't mean its final.

Just like I'm running 5508, and I do not have a Build Tag in my Systems Control Panel.

is this genuine advantage stuff included in the sp3 installer or is it still optional?

don't want to have that stuff on my pc :| - and successfully avoided downloading it through autoupdate

yet, i don't mind if the sp3 installer does some validation check once.

i didn't want to start a piracy discussion.

it's just that i don't like WGA to be installed on my machine. the sp2 installer had an inbuilt wga check, which didn't need any WGA to be installed.
if it's that way with sp3 everything is fine for me.

are there some legit download-links already? as soon as i can upgrade to sp3 the better

right, everyone who doesn't like WGA must be using a pirated xp...

    jees...

it's the same with .net framework. i can't stand it and i managed to avoid it for years. but in the end i had to install it due to ut3. if it's necessary, i'll have to live with it. but as long as there's the possibility to avoid it, count me in ...
