Looks like the heatsinks on the P5K vanilla. And holy USB.
At least they are cooling the mosfets. My P35-DS3P's mosfets get quite warm.
A wolf in wolves clothing.
i have this mobo at home too, BUT DOESNOT work properly! First batches of these Gigabytes was with serious errors ...
nice!!.... but will there be a DDR3 version?
also does it run ICH10 or 11 ?
Is their color scheme selected by a focus group of kindergarden kids? If Fischer-Price made motherboards, they would look like Gigabyte boards.![]()
when will this be available in the US?
It is funny that Gigbyte races to be first and more offten than not suck swampwater untill they have a few revs.
Only company that BIOS revs get worse as they go too...
How exciting!!....i see they have (finally) implemented a clear CMOS button and a reset button....at last!
Fans have been wanting this for AGES!, i also see they have updated the Super I/O to the latest IT8720F model....great news!, in addition with P45 totally removing IDE and PCI they have decided to use the IT8213F chipset:

This is all rather exciting, there also appears to be something new with the mobo headers, looks like something that Asus did a Q -Connect...they seem to be implementing something similiar on the fornt panel connector.

Friends shouldn't let friends use Windows 7 until Microsoft fixes Windows Explorer (link)

i bet that mobo doesnot to work, like mine ... it is now only for showing ... in P45 is serious bug with PCI express bus, we must to wait for better revision ...
What are the PCI-E lanes like? 16x / 16x Crossfire or 8x / 8x ?

Clear CMOS and reset need to not be underneath the last PCIe slot. I imagine it's a low bandwidth slot but what if I want to do Tri-Fire and I have a GPU pot hanging over that slot? Otherwise it looks slick![]()
They have also (finally and thankfully) dumped completely the Parallel port....but the Serial (COMA) remains, i also see an updated Intersil 6 phase chip ISL6336.
