The top off, can see the processor/RAM board and the other side into the PCI card bays.

The processor/RAM board pulls straight out and you can then access it all.

RAM Riser cards, x8 64MB sticks of PC100 ECC RAM.

The CPU bays, as you can see, only one installed.

The CPU pulled out of the socket.

The other side of the CPU.

The CPU Blankers in their place

The PCI Slot side and access to the back of the hard drives.

    Redundant PSU fans.

Front with the uber LCD Fault Display.

Other side with RAM and CPUs on.

    Redundant PSUs.

Yep, 4 of them equalling 1200W combined.

    Each having 22A @ 12v, so 88A overall @ 12v.

    That's it for now!

It's not at all powerful, but dammit it's out of the norm which makes it far better than even my Q6600!

Yeah, they are old P3 Xeons, Codename Tanner IIRC, pretty damn uber machine!

I did a quick search on the HP Netsurf LN4 (I think that's what I searched--doesn't matter it said PIII). How does that compare to a new DP Xeon setup, though?

Err, well I popped on BOINC for a laugh, and I seem to remember the MIPS/MFLOPS was about 600/300 for the 1 CPU @ 550MHz!

But yeah, the Netserver LH4 was an absolute beast in its day!

Getting ready to plant a little seedling...

Got a couple of quads sent here from DDT, the first one is in a home ( finally ); just have to hook up a HD and connect it all up.
Hopefully it will blossom quickly and give forth much fruit!

    More power, Scotty!

    MSI P35 Neo2-FR, Q6600 G0.
The fan is inside the Tuniq.

I've got another one I need to put together. It will also be a Q6600, also cooled by a Tuniq. I have all the parts here, but will be having to use a P965 board. For a while at least.

Just gotta make time to build it.

Tuniq Tower has the fan in the middle. The board is an MSI Neo2-FR. My favorite P35 board of all the ones I've had (P5K-E, DS3P, IP35-E)

Here is the Antec Earthwatts 500 and Q6600 I picked up at Fry's the other day. Just under $260 total with tax. Got me another P5K Premuim from a fellow forum member. I really like these boards, even though many don't. Xigmatek cooler, 2gb team memory, and my trusty old P160. This is quad #5 on WCG for me.

    Updated Farm!

Here's my current farm, And some idea as to where I'm going...

My Desktop, A 2.6Ghz A64 X2 (s939), 8800GT. The CPU runs WCG, The GPU runs on FAH. on average i see 5.6k ppd on FAH, 4k ppd on WCG. Its been doing allot of encoding for the past month (digitalizing dvd's). And no, Lego technic cars will NEVER be hidden in the closet! I spent too much damn time as a kid getting them together to hide them.

The PS3's... They don't do much PPD (1600-2000 between the two of em) but I use one for games and videos (Not often at all, Given the *****y TV im using) I got the other for $180... Its going to a friend soon, But for now, It's folding. That is what happens when ANYTHING that can crunch/fold gets into my house... Fixing a friend's macbook? Once im done, It crunches until they come to pick it up!

The Basement Brigade! One AXP 2.0Ghz, One A64 (s754) 2.0Ghz, One P4 (s478) 2.6Ghz. I hope to add a quad into the mix one day, It will join these brave soldiers in the basement.

My Laptop, Dell D620. 2Ghz C2D CPU. It was crunching before, Getting a nice 5k PPD. But... I got some weird screen issue, I don't think it was related to crunching, But i pulled it off WCG just incase. This thing is pretty new, And I've already spent 200ish on upgrades, And about 3 days of working getting it setup to dual boot Vista and Mac OSX, So its taking a break for now. Oddly... The screen issue JUST WENT AWAY TODAY.... I don't know why. But if it stays away for another week, Its BACK ONTO WCG!

    Things coming...

My brother's C2D E6600 and 8800GT are joining the cause, I just need to arrange a time with him i can set it up.

My friend's Q6600 G0 @ 3.6Ghz and his 8800GT are also joining! I just need to reformat for him, He's got some hard drive corruption issues. After that, It's going to work 24/7!

Another friend's PS3 will start running on my name once i help him set it up.

Beyond that... I hope to buy a secondhand quad cruncher here or build one myself in the coming months. I just need to get some things dealt with first, Such as a TV that doesn't SUCK, and a bicycle so i can stay in shape and start exploring the wealth of beautiful trails around here again.

    My little farm

    This is my main pc/cruncher:

Don't mind the mess it allways comes back.

My second and new cruncher is a sneaky build ( dad doesn't like the electricity bill ):

Hmmm now where is that little su**er?

Yes there it is in the lowest drawer of my cabinet.

And my old pc for my brother:

Also a mess but hey, who cares?

And the pc of my parents:

Now this are the indoor crunchers, I have 4 more pc's under my wings( a.t.m. )

    So I got running:
    Main pc/cruncher: Q6600@3.6 24/7
    Sneaky cruncher Q6600@2.88 24/7
    Bro's pc/cruncher Q6600@2.88 12/7
    Parents pc E6600@stock 3/5

    Teachers pc FX60@stock 15/7
    Friends pc 3800x2@stock 5/5
    Friends pc P4@2.8 12/6
    Friends pc 5800x2?@stock 3/6

I need to move on my own to get myself more pc's. My dad is ok with crunchin but only on the pc's we use and none extra builds

I like the crunchers-in-a-basket(s)! Airflow. Concentrated computing. Small footprint.

I may have to resurrect my board-board. Some of these pics get my juices flowing. Been busy trying to get my "rig-to-end-all-rigs" all setup. Been slow going, but I'm getting there. Almost done. For now.

Once I'm done with that, I may have to redo the "board-board". But this time instead of four AXP-M's, it might be four Intel Quads. The old "board-board" enabled me to add 10 GHz of crunching real quickly. A newer version, with quads, would put out 56+ GHz. And instead of laying it flat, across several unused chairs, I'm thinking of hanging the board from heavy hooks. Like a side of beef!
