    9800GTx waterblock?

Will the waterblocks that are currently for the 8800GTx's work with this card or will new waterblocks have to be bought. I just installed watercooling and wanted to know if it would work if i would decide to step-up my cards. More specifically if the uni-sink would work or if there are plans for a new uni-sink for the 9800GTX. I'm sure the waterblock itself still will fit but need to know about the RAM for it.

None of the full cover 8800GTX blocks with fit the 9800GTX's. The Unisink will not work. Only gpu only blocks with compatible mounting hardware will work.

i was wanting something like this http://www.dtekcustoms.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=189 except for the 9800GTX, i'm thinking of going ahead and stepping up my card and buying the other and just wait to install them till they come out with the sink like that so i don't have to buy all new card stuff, especially since i just filled my system for the first time last week. But if i were to buy those full cover blocks it would be easier to tri-sli if i wanted to

These will be available for the 9800GTX at both this store and Sidewinder computers in about one week:

They aren't as massive as the D-tek unisink, but that is intentional. I wanted them to be sleek, lightweight, and highly compatible with multiple coolers. After over 500 sets sold I don't think I've received a single complaint. Some choose to use a fan on them but I personally haven't found it necessary.

I would never claim they cool as well as the D-tek sink, but honestly I think it is kind of overkill.

Not those ones I posted, those are the 8800GT version. The 9800GTX version looks very similar, so I posted them as an example.

The 9800GTX version is currently in production at the machine shop, and should be sent for finishing on monday. They should be in stock at the two stores I mentioned by the end of next week.
