When I first got my P35 it was the same thing worked out of the box on desktop downloaded latest Bios 11/22/07 flashed Bios 12 minutes later C1 and dead as disco.

I would not necessarily blame the Bios Flash as said it may be that it may not be that. Just sed it back to newegg and get another one
