    Strap compario on X38 (266 / 333)

    Don't beat me if You all already know this - but I just made a quick test with exactly the same settings in BIOS, first time with 266 strap and second time with 333 strap.

    266 strap:



    333 strap:



    As You can see memory read & latency is much better on 266 strap.

    If nothing works nomore......:

    Hmm. That is very interesting. Does anyone else have comments/info on this? I had always read that 333 was the best to use...

    Yes it must be better, but my mobo is not fully stable at 266 strap with high FSB, NB cannot to run at this clocks/multipliers ...
