    Tanscend aXeRam 4GB 2x2GB DDR1066 testing

i recieved the new Transcend aXeRam 4GB DDR1066 kit for testing.
it will take me a while to test all the things i'd like to but i just had to post this early result

    566mhz at only 1.95 vdimm :o
board is DFI P35 DARK with bios vdimm set at 1.925...it overvolts slightly though
more voltage reduces the stable speed and i have yet to try lower than 1.925vdimm...i will for sure though
currently the ram is naked with 2x 60x10mm 12volt fans for active cooling

also i will take photo's of the ic's to help with identification
at the moment they look very much like micron ic's when looked at edge on...they are also rectangular rather than square.
    pcb is 6 layer brainpower

If you see a white dot at the bottom of the chip + a code XXXXX-XXXX
    they are powerchips.

hmmm...maybe the below pictures will help identification.
the edge of the IC's look exactly the same as my micron D9GMH

anyway...i just want to add that this is a normal retail kit and not cherry picked.
cas4 performance looks rather underwhelming in the early 400mhz range
although i am running 400mhz 4-4-4-12 at 1.85 real vdimm at the moment

and then with the lowest vdimm setting of 1.8V (1.85 real measured) 533mhz was a breeze

    more testing coming up

I would be very grateful if you could post a spd dump. I´m thinking of flash may Transcend Jetram PC6400 2x2Gig kit with your spd.

Using spd do not change overclocking. It will help them boot in some cases or
use timings that cannot be adjusted in bios

    hmm..still 550 at 1.89vdimm
i got the impression the hdd was being utilised a lot more, slowing the tests down, which may have actually destressed the memory a little....*shrug*

This kit must be fairly new, not seeing it for sale anywhere using Froogle. Hopefully the price is competitive, as the results are in comparison to other kits.
    Less is more.
