I saw you unplugged the cable in the one photo. I would highly recommend not doing so. The connectors wheren't designed to be taken apart and could very well break when doing so.

if you've seen laptops pulled apart you'd notice those types of plugs

(well they look like them as i haven't got one of these GFX cards to confirm)

if that is the case they are ok to pull off then

they are "okey" to take apart, BUT the cable seems fragile as hell.. wouldnt recommend taking it on and off. I took it off myself to make it easier to insulate.
