@Tony could you please tell me what the CPU-NB Vlotage setting in PWM is for and what its function is please? Also what kind of relevance does it have on clocking Phenom with the DFI 790FX

CPU-NB is the memory controller, its on the same die as the CPU core but it is seperate...treat it like the NB on an Intel rig but in this case you can adjust the frequency as well
Got a problem with your OCZ product....?

    Sunday update:

Got a small amount of time today, so decided to run stock vcore and see how high I can clock the CPU, currently first test is at 3GHZ CPU and 2.5GHZ NB, 4GB 8000Plats at 1.9V DDR2 1000 5-5-5-15.

Water temp in my loop is 8C and the phenom is puring along with temps reported in AOD at 26.5C load.

Now I know my water temps are pretty cold, but we should get a relative idea about how high this CPU should clock and at what voltage.

Also im 1500+ words into a guide for Phenom, for those looking to learn how the CPU is different to Athlon and how to clock it. Its not overly technical and should explain most of the basics and the rules you have to abide by.

Regards benches, guys I have limited time, I will do my best...I will add some stuff to the article and post some here.

Too bad you don't have an air cooler for comparison. Mine needs ~1.325V/1.325V for 2.8/2.2GHz on air with core temps around 50°C running prime95.
I only have a reserator 1p beside the big typhoon, so air does the better job here.
    Awaiting your result however

Dude where can I send money. I've already bought OCZ

Screw the benchies you've more then done your part.

What your working on is much more important then benchies we can run ourselves.

    Thank you very much!
