    Thermalright HR07 heatspreaders missing from DDR2-1300 (2 x 1gb) kit

    Hello,

Per the TG website my model should include it but I never got it.

Also the attached aluminum heatspreaders came faulty I believe as I have explained here:
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=170171

Also should note, that I contacted newegg.com (thats where I bought the ram) and they could not address my concern as they literally had no information on the model of RAM I have by TG.

    Well let me know.

    Thanks

newegg also is aware of the problem but all they can do is give me a choice to RMA it back or not and get a replacement kit which they clearly said also is missing the HR07s...

I got an RMA anyways since my pair died on me.... not only that but I really think the pair I got died on me due to the heatspreaders not being properly affixed onto the RAM and making proper contact with the RAM ICs.

oh well... cheapo ram = cheapo build quality...

moral - buy something else next time and avoid TeamGroup ...

newegg added this back to their stock...

Ive verified up to 1300mhz on evga 680i A1 board.... tried going to 1400Mhz but couldnt quit figure out the dividers properly otherwise id be cursing at 1400Mhz+

ofcourse that is with my last pair of this ram that went SOL on me.... havnt really played around too much with the RMA replacement pair from newegg.

Now the P45 board could probably take this ram to its max though...
