By any chance do you have p5w mobo to test the ram on? I'm wondering if i just got bad sticks but chances are ram timings are just not relaxed on p5w because it locks up pretty much all ram control.

i don't have P5W in here to test. but i believe P5W doesn't have TRFC at 52+ and that will cause a lot of problemOriginally Posted by Lee13168

p5w sets it at 42 which pretty much gives me ddr2 900 speeds tops. Going to RMA the sticks and order another 4gig kit. Think F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK will work fine with p5w?
