G2 brisbane.... much improved. Lower power, roughly the same OC power (i.e. you will hit 3.2-3.4 not much problem). Also, 90 nm F2's are on their last legs... AMD will stop taking any orders for them soon.

5000+ BE the best bang for the buck if you are overclocking (which I recommend, this CPU is a great OCer on the AMD side).

I second the 5000+BE....nice to Oc and dosnt have the heat or Volt/load of the big brother model.
+ unlocked multi come in handy.

If you play games then that L2 is important
Try to get 1210 opteron it's cheaper then 5000+BE

If your board can do 350+ HTT. Also need to make sure that it's CZ not CS on the box. (F3 and F2)

If you don't play games and want something that doesn't make a lot of heat, or needs heavy duty cooling then get the Brisbane.
    My 939 still runs faster it's larger L2 (which games+ some app's like ) then 260Mhz
    higher clocked 5000BE+

Just realized 1 of the G2 has a different everest version, but the other 2 are the same

Everest shows the bandwidth but not the size of L2
April 7th is the day I believe, wait and see - it's only a couple of days
