I think I have two IBM/Olivetti keyboards. Discussed them today at dinner with my uncle. I may only have direct access to two of them, but he has a stock of probably a dozen more. As he says--they're the best keyboards ever made. They're dang heavy--so they have never moved around my desk. I opted for the IBM keyboard on my nostalgia build, instead of the Microsoft keyboard that's sitting on top of it. I did change to an old USB Logitech optical mouse, though--but that's because the Microsoft IntelliMouse 1.0 or 1.1 has a near-dead right button. IT takes some effort to get that thing clicking properly. Right now--I have this "Mouse Systems" AT/PS2 keyboard and a Microsoft "Mouse port compatible mouse 2.0A". Yeah--I enjoy old hardware and reliable hardware. The two peripherals that I have never, ever, had a problem with are old IBM keyboards and old Microsoft mice. Just can't beat them. And people look at you like you're crazy when your components are 15 years old, or older.
I don't use the IBM keyboard regularly, but I still admire the thing. I have a second down in the basement, next to, I think, a 386 with like 8MB RAM, Win3.11 for Workgroups, and SimCity 2000 Classic. An old Packard Bell--and that thing is built like a tank too.

yea those keyboard are great got two myself they were being thrown away at school cause no windows key. They also have a dual build in feature they are so heavy you can defend yourself with them and win against most all other objects.
So I got a quad sweet more power two more cores for me and four times the cache of my 6300 even better much more output for wcg. Oh yea that little single rad packed in that P180 was weak for that chip hmm quad no go load just killed that thing. So was thinking hmm go back to air with 120 extreme or update wc and get bigger case to fit it. Well did update watercooling part. Lets just say the temp are as good as the air around the computer or the pump is two slow now. Changes are two swifttech tripples 6 yateloons and 10 feet of tube
.
First pic is temps load wcg of course.
Second is shot of case insides.
Third where are those tubes going to hmm![]()
Four is the money shot ooo rads.

I checked yesterday when I got home--the keyboard on ym desk is IBM/Lexmark. Blue IBM sticker on it. Copywrite IBM 1984... I didn't look at my particular keyboard's birthdate. I'll look later. I think the second one is IBM/Olivetti. I always know I'll have a weapon handy on my desk! Some crook won't expect a 22+ year old keyboard to be swung at them... and knock them out! Would make an interesting mark, though.
Makes me really hate typing on these cheap Dell keyboards at school.

I might as well post my barn--though much of it holds retired and disabled animals and there are a few empty stalls. Sadly, none of them crunch... yet.
Top is Dell Inspiron 3800--C3m 600 w/ 128MB RAM
Below that is Acer V66LA 1--P2 400 w/ 64MB RAM, ATI Rage Pro
Left-most case (beige) is empty--used to hold a Celeron 2GHz w/ 512MB RAM, GeForce FX5200 128
Middle box is full--an XClio 188A case. I had my current rig in it before--but the Infinity refused to fit. I also swapped the 188A's front panel with the Propeller's front panel--the 188A had HD Audio up-front, so I used that panel instead of the Propeller's analog-only.
Right box is empty--had the XClio Propeller in it.
My main desktop--specs below. I'm going to figure out why it will not boot into Vista at 3GHz--it always drops it down to 1.6GHz and it's getting annoying. I got used to the extra 87% so gaming seems slow now, at least on the CPU-intense stuff.
My prized possession--an IBM Model M. Birthdate December 21, 1992. Yeah--I was barely 2 when that keyboard was born.
Of course, it's IBM/Lexmark, as told by the blue IBM logo. Keys are dirty too--but I don't care.

Bobsama, why are you posting them here if none of them crunch?
If you want to post 'em, go to: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=134168 .
Core i3-550 Clarkdale @ 4.2GHz, 1.36v (Corsair A50 HS/F) LinX Stable
MSI H55-GD65 Motherboard
G.Skill 4GBRL DDR3-1600 @ 1755, CL9, 1.55v
Sapphire Radeon 5750 1GB
Samsung F4 320GB - WD Green 1TB
Xigmatek Utgard Case - Corsair VX550
Why am I not crunching? None of those computers are on the internet. To put it in short--I was a bad kid when I was 13 & 14. Yeah--they've still not let me back on the 'net from my own room since. Oh well... any computer I take with me to college (Miami) is going to crunch. I decided to post them because it is really an empty/disabled barn. That, and BOINC won't work because 2/3 of the running machines are below the RAM requirement. The E2140 seems unstable too--I haven't Prime'd it since it's Vista 64--and last version I tried was incompatible. I'm doing "real-world" stress testing, in that I simply up the voltage every time the computer freezes/crashes in the middle of a game. IIRC, there's a Prime that's Vista64 compatible.
I sort of e-mailed WCG and there's nothing that they can do about it--they can't send me packages, I pack them on a flash drive, crunch them, and return them every few days. I wish I could do just that, however.
I'll have at least one more crunchable PC by the time I go to Miami--probably two or three total. If you noticed, I have a KVM switch (USB 1.1, VGA, Audio) sitting on top of the beige/silver case.
I may have something on WCG before September--possibly by July, if I get an Eee PC.
So yeah--three empty stalls, two retired, and one that's somewhat disabled.

WOW its hot in here...
How do you people have overclocked quads running 24/7 and not burn down your house? I have my rig in my closet, and it gets in the mid 30's after a day of prime... It looks like F@H is my new TIM break in program...
(And i guess im breaking in the TIM on my laptop, and 2 other old computers as well.. lol)
