starting work on the front bezal and final sand primer coat on fan modules before they get airbrushed. finally finished using body filler, the stuff realy fu*ks you off after a while. Anywayz heres the pics, just waitin for the parts to dry then mayb airbrush them later.

    Filling in the holes at the top of the bezal;

    ..and the antec logo;

    Sanded the top part down ready for primer;

    ..and the logo

    Finished, primer still wet in pic;

    No more cheap Antec logo 8)

    sanded fan modules and another quick coat of primer;

    You may notice something missing from this fan module;

    Here it is! i broke the fan , bit ruff with the sandin. o well i have spare one somwhere.

    ow ye i just bought this phase change unit for £325 is it worth it, is it anygood? i know nothing about phase
    heres the link

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...TODAY.m238.lVI

    Bit from the description;

    'Has only been used for bench testing my new rig
    with very little use, also some gaming whilst testing
    my tri Sli rig you can run this unit 24/7 if you wish to and it
    cools down to around -69 with no load and cools my
    core 2 duo E6850 down to around -48 overclocked at 4.20 Ghz
    1.560 Vcore.
    This unit would be ideal for a heavy overclocked Qaud core
    around 300 watts or more offering far better cooling
    than a Mach 2 GT or Ls'

    Doesn't say who built it, but sounds like a good unit. It's designed to deal with high heat output, like that of quad cores. No processor out no outputs more than 300w, so you are set.

    If he said who built it and what evaporator design is in it, it would be easier to give you a thumbs up or down. Looks to be thumbs up though. Post a link in the phase change forum here, someone should be able to help you.

    Very nice! First time iv seen fan mods on top of the 900. Looks like you have an awesome workshop.

    Primer is dry, quick sand with 1500 grit get the surface nice and smooth ready for airbrushing;

    First mask off the area that is be airbrushed, using 'low' tack masking tape or it might lift the primer;

    The area that is coverved in masking tape will be sprayed black to match the case frame;

    Bezel is being airbrushed aswell;

    Fan modules finished just need to add some weathering and cracks;
    http://

...same with ....jpg[/img]

    no more holes;

    antec logo gone forever;

    fans with the masking tape removed;

    Update tomoz, need to spray the fan module frames black, and add weathered/cracks onto modules and bezal to match panels. Start graphics on the panels, and thats about it thanks 4ya comments :wink:

    I hope the fans don't burn out on you. With all that paint on them they are sure to be off balance now so your sure to get more noise coming from them. But everything looks great.
