OC Weekend: GX2 and E8400 Fun With LN2, Vapo, Water @ crazypc.ro

Last week i got a little LN2 ( 10L ), so i decided to make some test with my new GX2 at weekend.

System specs:

CPU: E8400 Retail Q747A406
MB: DFI LP UT P35-T2R 3/11 bios
RAM: 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC8500 and/or 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC5300
VGA: BFG 9800GX2 @ stock cooling, no mods
PSU: Silverstone ZM1200M
COOLING(CPU): Ln2* ( Friday ), 24/7 Watercooling ( Saturday ), Asetek Vapochill LS, moded by Dimas ( Sunday )
OS: Windows XP SP3.

* CPU Pot : Bullet Pot by Duniek, big thanks for Monstru and Matose.

Friday - First day results ( LN2 on CPU )

SPI 1M - 8.391s @ 5508 Mhz



PIfast - 17.45s @ 5400 Mhz

This run was f*cked up, in the background was running the Am3 too, lol.

Yes andre, the 2k5 @ ln2 was f*cked up because i forget the am3 runing at the background . As you can see, i reached more marks with cpu at 4680 with water .

Yes, and the funny thing is the next .. i didnt realise about that score if its low, because i dont tested the GX2 before the ln2 session for 2k5 with water or so on the cpu. If i did one test with air/water on the cpu at 4500 then i knew about that 31k is ty .

Thats why we should test on air/water first

Your GX2 is very very nice overclocker , mine,fully stock, can't go higher than 780/1944/2300 even for benching...

Your 2003 is very low ...try 174.74 driver is slightly faster in everything except CH 2001
