9800GX2 Water Blocks...

I would save my money for a custom spacerkit and SLI bridge and use some regular GPU blocks like we could with the 7950gx2

I always thought this was ugly.

Im sorry but im not a fan of stacking stuff like that. It looks incredibly bad when installed inside your computer.

I'll wait for a DD IONE style solution. Very free flowing, and decient performer.

I'll wait for a slimmer full size version. but i also heard the Tri GTX also spanks Quad SLI.

I think I will design something in google sketchup tonight and send it off to Jerm at Dangerden... That alluminum block has the right idea, but its fugly and well, alluminum haha.

Will post pics here to get ideas from you guys.

Just order 2 9800x2's so will be intresting to see what WC solution everyone comes up with. Personally I wish thy were side by side GPU such as the 3870x2, but it is what it is.

Just ordered the new 790i Ultra to go along with them. Time to get my feet wet on some DDR3 and Vista

I hate the look of the 9800GX2 watercooled, those big holes in the boards dont look attracting. Plus, aluminum blocks???

I say "DAMN" that chit is expensive. Got some of the G.Skil HZ 1600. 4 gigs. I figured I'd give Vista premium 64bit a whirl.

quick question if you dont mind, the GX2 is a dual slot on air, yes? would it still be dual slot with a water cooling solution? i need single slot for my future plans

Just stepped up to 2 x 9800 GX2s - will wait for the adventurous to sort out water cooling blocks and survive on air for a while ... (altho it breaks my heart to give up my pretty nickel-plated EK 8800 GTX blocks )
